As students at the University of Michigan, our team saw what national statistics have been reporting for years: today’s students are under a lot of pressure. Many are struggling with stress, exhaustion, anxiety, and depression.
We wanted to help... so we dreamed up hEARt.
hEARt helps students to harness the power of peer support. Students can text the hEARt Line any time, anywhere. They are asked what they would like to discuss, and then, within 48 hours, matched accordingly with a hEARt Supporter– a student on the same campus who is uniquely qualified to listen.
